I was walking in to work today, and heard an irrate guy on the phone upset because he found out his teenage daughter used 12000 minutes last month...

That is 200 hours

I only use about 40 minutes a month or so

About an hour of the regular phone minutes...but I use a shit-load of direct connect minutes.

My wife and I have a 800 minute plan.

We use about 100 minutes a month.

I really don't want to talk to her in person

much less on the phone

I run 4-500 minutes a month, but I dont have a home phone. Then add on all the direct connect minutes... good thing those are free.

My wife and I share 1000 7AM-7PM M-F minutes. First month we used around 200 of those. Last month we used around 300 (mostly me).

I think we used around 2000 minutes the first month. Last month it was around 1200.

I use 500-700 a month. My plan allows 1000 with roll over. I hoarded minutes for awhile, so as of now I have around 7000 minutes to burn for under $50 a month. I don't use my landline for anything but internet connection though.

Most of my phone conversations are short and to the point. Alot of 1 to 3 minute calls.

My wife and I probably spend about 5000 minutes at least every month - so I can easily see how a teenager could rack up over 10000, since my wife and I are pretty busy with jobs that take a lot of our time, but teenagers seem to have nothing but free time these days.

Our plan is either 450 or 500, I can't remember which. Most of our calls are not counted against the plan because they're Verizon "In" calls, so we don't get near our limit.

I used 3,998 minutes in December.

Of course, my JOB is to support cell phone sales at a major national retail account for a prime carrier.

I'm on the phone alot; every day from 0800 to 2100, sometimes, 5 times an hour the entire time!
