+1 on the MAC 11. I've heard bad stuff about the MAC 10 and 12, but you can do some cool stuff with a MAC11.  check out www.max-11.com and you'll forget all about that other gun. The...uh...uh.....oh yeah,.the UZI.

Sten converted M11/9 is the best bang for the buck...
Add a suppressor and a MacJack for a show-stopping, lightning fast mag dumper.

The Uzi's bore me to death. The turtle slow ROF and heavy bolt are just not exciting to me.

Stemple (Smith & Wesson 76 SMGs) are fun.

S&W 76s are 8k

Stemples are 5 or 6

Ruger AC556s are $5,700 to 6,500 not bad for a .223 MG with 3 round burst. Plus, Ruger will work on these if there is a problem.

FNC MGs are not too bad either.

Reising 45 SMG are in the 5 K range.

The MACs are the cheapest MGs out there.

That's not too bad.  I have a USGI M1 Carbine.  I would imagine that an M2 would be a lot of fun.

A pair of shoestrings is only about a buck-fiddy or so.

MACs can be had for about $2500 on up. I personally love my MAC-10. Got about 8k rounds through it with no parts replaced other than buffers and mags.
