just reading in the other thread about what they can do with that system over in europe makes it seems very impressive.  Can you imagine having it here?  The effect on crime?  Has it reduced crime there?

Cameras don't stop crime.  They may help you in catching people after the fact, but thats it.

several cities already have it here. probably hasn't made a dent since most of the time the cameras are used to zoom in on chicks going braless or couples humping in public...
