Obviously not a complete list, since that would stretch into the thousands of entries, but rather these are firearms that I can realistically attain if I put my mind and wallet to it in the future (and put off purchasing a a home for another few years ).

1)  Reproduction of Son Tay Raid carbine, including original Armson Singlepoint optic.  This is a picture of UXB's clone project, taken from this thread.

2) Wildey Survivor in .475 Wildey Mag.  Nothin says lovin like a 350grn hollowpoint.

3) H&K P7M8 9mm  My desire for it is mostly inspired by SteyrAUG's review thread.

4)  Colt Officer's Model 1911 with Walnut grips.  I actually owned one of these a few years ago, and loved it, only to foolishly trade it at a gunshow.  The worst firearm mistake I have ever made.  I want another badly.

5)  M1D sniper rifle.  I realize that it was never really a viable option for true snipers, but dammit I still want one, just as a piece of history.  And to shoot stuff with.

6) Valkyrie Arms M3A1 Grease gun.  I'm on a real WWII kick lately, and this one looks like a lot of fun.  Not overly expensive, cheap mags, and historical value.  A fun range gun, not terribly useful anymore with so many options out there nowadays.

7) Valkyrie Arms Delisle Carbine.  Reputed to be one of the quietest suppressed guns available, this was very nearly my first NFA purchase a few years ago.  If I get it soon, this will be my third suppressor.  Takes original 1911 mags, and is accurate out to 200 meters, according to an article in SAR from last year.

8) Colt 607 clone.  For some reason, I find this to be one of the best looking ARs ever.  I've got to have one.  If I ever save up enough for an NFA lower, it will be on this clone.  The one pictured here also belongs to UXB.

So, that's my immediate list, hopefully within the next year or so.

My first.  My last.  I must own:

I've shot many things - M16, M14, Sten, Bren, G18, etc. - but never a M60

Adding everything up, what's your guesstimate of what all that would cost?

I seriously doubt I will ever get to own one.

Thankfully, I'm living the dream -- there's no firearm I want that I don't already own.

I know there are more powerful things out there like the 20mm gatlin(sp) gun. But when I thing about firepower, I think about the quad 50.

Wildey - $1,500
P7M13 - $1,800
M1D - $2,000
607 Clone - $1,000
Delisle - $1,800
M3A1 - $800
Son Tay Carbine $1,000
Colt Officer's Model - $600

That's what I figure.  It could certainly add up to more.  That does not include NFA tax on the Delisle suppressor, or the M3A1 and 607 SBRs.

Nearly forgot to add...

4 M2hb home built guns @6500.00per
+ TNW Quad mount @ 3900.00
+ 4 ammo drums @ 299.00 each
+ 400rds .50 ball @ 720.00

= 31816.00 est.

Add 17,996.00 if your buying factory built m2's

At that price, who wouldnt want one!!!! or two

I'd love one, but it isn't a realistic purchase for me.  I'd never be able to realize the full potential for that weapon's capabilities.

One down, seven to go.

I picked up an HK P7M8 at the fun store tonight, for $1075 out the door.  The guy I bought it from told me after I purchased it that it used to belong to one of the Jacksonville Jaguars.  I can't remember which one right now, I'll have to ask him again next time I go in there.  I already love this piece, and can't wait to take it to the range this weekend.

ETA:  The P7M8 used to be owned by Jacksonville Jaguars Center Dave Widell.

I'm sure it wouldn't sell for anything less that RR M16 territory, and I don't have the money for it, but it's the epitome of a Commander 1911 to me. Devel Colt Commander owned by Wayne Novak.

SR 25 Carbine. Add in a suppressor with their quick detach kit and a Magpul UBR stock.

I've always wanted a Micro Galil. Don't know why, they've just always been appealing to me.

I want a ARM(H) damnit. Make mine black with a longer barrel and forend.

I have your #3.  Paid 450 for the weapon, scope, scope box, weapon crate.  Defintiely not a looker but a fantastic shooter, save for the fact I cant find any mags for it and the 2 it came with were lost in a fire.  Fortunately the weapon was at a different location at the time.  If I had the converted mags for it, I would definitely shoot it alot more.  And yes, the original scope looks like a piece of surveying equipment

Need to get behind an E4/Mk43 model....very, very, much improved!!!! Only took them about 40 years but they finally got it right!!!

I have an RIA M60 with the US Ordnance E4/Mk43 upgrade. I just passed 10K rounds this week without 1 malfunction to date. My bolt, sear, and op-rod still look new with only a hint of very minor wear marks (thanks to the synthetic grease I use). The only drawback is it can be a bitch to clean!!! Thank god for the air-compressor and cheap SA .308 ammo!!!!!!!!!!!

Heavytank2,

I was the same way. I lusted for one ever since I saw Navy Seals (should I admit that!!!). I finally bought one and loved it although it was a bitch to clean and would throw some residue in your face at times. I eventually traded it for the M60 E4 mentioned above but still miss it. Luckily I got an MP5K with a AAC Striker 2 can that helps ease the pain.
