so was the p90, it blew me away when they came out with a 16" ps90; the fn2000 is coming out, so I wouldn't doubt they will bring out a 16" version |

Why would that stop them from releasing a civvie SCAR, when the sale of the FS2000 dies down? The PS90 isn't even a competitor in the 16" 5.56mm rifle market. I'd think the more sales the better, be it FS2000's or SCARs. |

Well, if nothing else, when they find out that there's just only so much market for .223 battle rifles, they'll be happy to sell the SCAR here.

The FS2000 currently carries a price tag between $1800 and $2200 before outrageous markups.
I haven't seen or heard of a civilian FN ARM/SCAR being released this year. If it is coming out, I would expect at least 1-2 years wait. They may want to fulfill the government contracts first. |

Last I heard was end of '06 or beginning of '07 for the light, I haven't heard any release dates for the heavy. But we should know for certain tomorrow.
