I was doing a google search about gunsmithing on my AR-15’s and came across an article about General dynamics possible buying Colt Defense. Could anyone shed some light on this subject? The article is as follows!

There have been stories circulating for the last month on several gun forums that Colt Defense has been purchased by defense industry giant General Dynamics.  This story has not yet been confirmed by either party.  This news comes just prior to Colt having a public stock offering.  General Dynamics also recently purchased the rights to H&K's XM-8 rifle.  More will be posted as information becomes available.
