There's a company that actually makes ear buds that are custom fitted to your ears just like custom shooter's earplugs. Same idea but with tiny earpieces built in. Very good product. Too bad I can't remember their name.
Sennheiser makes some great ear buds. If you can find them. Problem is, they're TOO good for an MP3 player. They'll reveal how badly trashed the treble range (especially cymbals) is with MP3s. You may want earbuds that are NOT quite so revealing. That's the reason I hate MP3s. I just can't stand the trashed treble range. CJ |

Koss The Sparkplugs. They're white, have the same foam as the orange shooting earplugs (though black instead of orange or yellow), have amazing sound quality and frequency response, and are $20 at your local Circuit City, Best Buy, or at Amazon.com.
Also, if you're an audiophile, you can tighten up the bass by putting tape over the vent holes on the outside. |
