I was walking out of one of the supermarkets towards my car. I tend to pear into cop cars sometimes.. seeing what cool new gadgets they have. (I dont go up to the car, and press my face against the window )

This one cop car had a bottle of hand creme and a box of tissues out in plain sight.

Now.. I know he probably just has a cold and his hands gets dry.....

Oddest thing you've noticed in a Police car?

Me, being arrested for a DUII about 15 years ago. Learned my lesson...

You know those fake hands and forearms that you can buy at halloween?  We took one of those and  put it out the trunk of one of our squads.   The non-energency call takers were pissed from all the people calling about a person trapped in the trunk of the police car.

For some reason the city doesn't key the locks all the same anymore.

The only thing I've noticed is how hard the cuffs pinch when they shove ya' into the back seat.
One would think they could design a seat coushion with room for the wrists (when they are locked together).
Or maybe that's just me.

Most of the odd things in cruisers are the police themselves.  Pretty odd indeed.

Yeah because arresting people is all about comfort.  Holiday Inn Police Dept.  Maybe your cuffs were still new and had not stretched out yet.

My screen saver on my patrol car's computer has flowers.

The paramedics were driving by and saw the flowers changing.  They backed up and had to watch the screen for awhile.

I leave the flowers on to calm the bad guys in the back seat.  It actually seems to help.  They can be yelling and screaming at me but when the flowers come on they quiet down.

Here's a sample.  The rose I bought Mrs. Colt_SBR for Mother's Day.  My stepdaughter bought her the other flowers for Mother's Day.

I took the photos in the back yard.

Yeah, that musta' been it.  The cuffs did seem well used, however, and the sargent was real considerate about that.
And if i may point out-the last time i got cuffed and stuffed by the Holiday Inn police was the last time i was up there. And they were real nice.

A deputy friend buys huge rolls of bullet hole decals.  He has a row of them down the side of this DARE car, as if sprayed by machinegun fire.  When we go to the range he sticks them on other's cars.  I came home to find one on my front door.  He's a menace to society... with a badge and gun.

This is standard "patrol ready" carry for lots of depts around the country.  If you need to rock, spin the mag around, slap it home, charge and go hot.

It's not carried that way because the guy can't figure out how to seat his mag.  Jesus, I get tired of seeing, then explaining that picture.

A well used M1 carbine and about six 30 rounds mags.  Saw it in the front seat of a tired old Caprice in a small town in NE Texas. This was about the time the Huntsville 7 were loose and thought it an odd choice at the time.  Not so much anymore.

Small ice chest full of freshly confiscated beer. Sure did taste good at choir practice when my buddy got off shift.
