I like a good hot dog once and a while....
There are many, and you can write in yours. Me? A dirty water sabrette, with mustard, touch of kraut and lotsa onions! |
Please. Everyone knows the Hebrew National is the best dog out there.
Hells yeah! |
Pshaw, the best around is 7-Eleven's Spicy Bite! The dog that bites back!
DAM - I drew a blank memory on that. Tasty HOT DOG - sorry I didn't include them in the poll! |
A genuine pushcart Sabretts dirty water dog or a Nathans dog with their fries. Damn I love their fries
Am I the only one that thought of this?:
Yeah I bet you like tube steaks.... |
Private Joker: I wanna slip my tube steak into your sister. What'll you take in trade?
Pvt. Cowboy: What do you got? |
I like Nathan's, BUT I still haven't found anything I like better than the Gray's Papaya dog with kraut...I think Gray's uses Sabrett.

I like all the NY dogs, but I suppose if I had to pick one, it would be a Nathan's Coney Island.
For Chicago dogs, I like Vienna the best. The one thing I really miss from NY is the roasted chestnuts from the street-vendor pushcarts! |
Yep, Hebrew National is the best... |
+1 If I can't get them (which is most of the time), Nathan's or Hebrew National dogs are also outstanding. |
Zweigle's are the best. And for those of you in Rochester, NY area, the white hots are even better than the red hots. The rest of you will have to do without unless you order them over the internet.
What he said.... |
yes and your Wally world has Nathans |
+23445151 WHITE HOTS are the way to go. |
Correct! |
DING!! (though I do find the wording quite questionable!) |
There are a few good hot dogs ( Ya Perverts )
but they have to be natural casing and cooked in hot water so they "Snap" when you bite into them . Oh ... and you have to have good spicy mustard !!! |
Interesting, never heard of Nathan's before. I think we'll give them a shot. |

Nathans, without a doubt, and polls don't work with 5 choices. Nobody knows why, and nobody knows why the staff doesn't fix it, but that's the way it is.

Got to go with the NYC crowd...I usually get use Hebrew NAtional, followed by Nathans and Sabrett |
Not even close, Hebrew Nationals.
Honorable mention to the Dodger Dogs (Farmer John) |
Coney Island Hot Dogs in Worcester, MA. You can actually see the finger indentations in the bread as they prepare up to 4 dogs at a time. Wicked good dawg with a Moxie.
Yep |
Gotta check'em out. |

Either Yocco's or those red Danish hot dogs that I haven't had in 20 years.
WHAT??? THAT's a real EFFING OLD IBTL DooP, almost two years. Almost makes me feel, original. |
Love the natural casing but hate the calories.....the hot dog for everyday consumption? Ball Park Beef-FatFree. 40 calories and they taste VERY good......those with the Lite buns from Krogers and your under 100 calories for an antire hotdog! Yum!
Damn! Yocco's, there's a trip down memory lane! I may have to get some in a couple weeks. Here's a wee bit o' trivia. Do you know who Yocco's is named after? Rich ETA...the bastiges put the answer on their website |
