I didn't work from the time I was 14 untiil I got out of college and funded my guitar, gun, car stereo, home theatre habits and living expenses by buying, cleaning up, and selling obscure old guitars. All the big investors were fighting over paying thousands for old Strats, Teles, and Pauls while I cleanded up buying Silvertones, Harmonys, Hofners, and Voxes for $50 and selling them for hundreds.
