the position that his selector is in would be the full auto position on a real full auto AKM, all the way down is semi on an AK |

The barrel had a lite frosting in it when I got it................I soaked it down with Kroil and scrubbed it out. It still looked a little hazy, but after the 900 rounds she has a nice shine. It shoots good for a AK, not as good as a Norinco, but still hits minute of man just fine |

Thats nothing. I got my M44 to smoke with all the cosmo that was burning out of its stock!
My shoulder hated me the next day!

On an AK, the lowest selector position is Semi. the middle position, (which he has selected) is full auto. However, I do not think there are any transferable Yugo AKs out there, so we'll assume this is a semi-auto.

That is beautiful! I got my Sar 1 to smoke so bad I was choking on it. I put about 9 30rd mags through it non stop. I haven't got the handguards to burst into flame yet, but there's still time...

Yes it is Semi auto DCI puts the selector slot in the middle, not on the bottom

Mine are black and burned, looks like charcoal. Here's something else, I've never cleaned the Sar-1. I want to see just how long it will keep shooting, and I am not easy on it. I've had it for 3+ years and I've put about 3,000 rds through it so far with no problems. If it ever does fail I'll just call it a piece of shit and demand my money back.
