I don't know how many of you read that I lost my job last month.  My truck was hit by a yard switcher last month and it totally screwed the truck.  Had to use a comalong to pull the body far enough onto the frame to get it to drive at all.  From that, I managed to get it from Chicago to Nashville, TN.  Well, no backup trucks and a screwed insurance company, I lost my job.  Was really depressed over that one.  Just got a call this morning and have been hired by Marten transportation.  So, I will be back on the road again.  Instead of regional (which actually sucks) I will be driving long haul.  Not home as often, but when I am home, it will be long enough to actually enjoy my time off.  Also, will get to see more of the country than I have been seeing lately.  

The best thing is that they have teams so my fiance' will be able to get her license and we will be able to ride together.  So, from being extremely depressed, I am now ecstatic!!!  Plus gonna get about 4G back on my taxes this year!!!  WOOT!!!!

We had been looking at this company before hand.  They had the best system for getting her into the truck as a team driver with me.  It just seemed to all fall into place.  I did an online application Tuesday not expecting positive results since I lost the other.  Had been going nuts for the last 3 weeks.  Then they call this morning and hot damn!!!  We're happy now....
