Wow, you just brought back some painfull memories. I had a mean one when I was a kid, doc had to cut and burn that bitch off, several times over. I couldn't walk worth a damn for a week.

Had one as well... took like 3 burns to get it off. On top of using some chemical patches to kill the skin off.

I had one of those damn things for many years. Finally got tired of feeling like someone was giving me a 'hot foot'. Went to a podiatrist who shaved off the dead skin and put acid on it. This was repeated every week for I think a couple months. (long time ago...can't remember) Never returned.

Amatuer....
I had one on my big toe about the size of a dime and then across the ball of my foot...all the way across, about have an inch wide. They looked terrible, but they never really bothered me. i let it go for 2 years. I finally went in for treatment. It took 3-4 month of visits (once every two weeks). they would burn them with Liquid N2 and the coat them with a chemical and wrap with tape. It would put me out of commission for at least one day every time. Finally I stopped going and then about a week and a half later they all cleared up. Haven't had one since. I should have taken pictures, but at the time, that seemed like a gross thing to do. |
