Most influential living woman is the key phrase.
I doubt Ann Coulter falls into that category. Is Margaret Thatcher still alive? That would be one possibility. Laura Bush is another. How about stealing a trick from Time and doing a peice on The American Servicewoman? They probably should be both influential and living if you want to get a good grade. Dr. Rice is another great one. Good idea to whoever suggested her. |

Unfortunately, the most influential living woman was never born becasue her mother was pro choice.
If you don't want to start that argument: Barbara Bush: Wife and confdant of one president and mother of another. Hillary Clinton: Everybody has an opinion on her. Nobody says she has to be a positive influence. Condi Rice: One heck of a climb for her. And (to paraphrase Homer) a smile than can launch a thousand cruise missiles. Sandra Day O'Connor: Only female on the Supreme Court to take a stand for individual property rights. Ruth Bader Ginsburg: Only female on the Supreme Court to side with the rich over the poor when it comes to individual property rights. Momma: Because everybody knows two things about momma. 1) The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. 2) If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. |

I know it is pretty deep too....and stretches quite some distance. I think Condi would be good. Kay Baily Hutchinson, What would be interesting is choose Hillary. Now hear me out. Undoubtly, there will be a few people writting essays on her and how she has proclaimed the liberal agenda. The angle I would take is that she is so polarizing and her ideas are so wrongheaded she has INFLUENCED countless people to fight her and in effect has advanced parts of the conservative agenda because she disgusts so many people. |
