I saw this Under Armor in a mailorder mag a while back and thought that it might work for less bulky thermal underwear when hunting.

It seems like neat stuff and the local Cabela's has the heat gear also.  Has anyone tried this stuff out?

I use UA Coldgear, Heatgear, and Loosegear. I love it.....It definitely makes my long shifts more bearable, no matter what the weather. It's worth the money. I even have several pairs of the UA boxer briefs. Buy one piece to try it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I wear cold gear, and loose gear.. LOVE IT.

the cold gear seems to go on tight, but then all of the sudden you have your full range of motion with no restricted feelings whatsoever.  I wear it snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, and softball.

Its all I wear for underwear for the last yr and a half or so. I wear the cold, loose and heat gear as well. Love it.

The only thing that didnt make the cut for me was the socks. Im back to thorlos again.

IF you are not rock solid muscle, don't you feel like stuffed sausage in the cold gear?

I tried some, but could not get over the tight, squeezed feeling...

Cold gear works pretty well as an under layer. By itself, not much protection. I am satisfied overall.

Have been using UA for a few years now. Have some I use for ice hockey, and some of the loose gear as well.

Absolutely love it.

Big fan here too. I have the heat gear Tee, the cold gear mock, and my favorite piece is the arctic fleece cold gear beanie hat. It keeps my shaved head warm.

good stuff.  Free range of motion, keeps you warm, without feeling bulky or bunching up.

obviously if you're a big person you should never, under any circumstances, wear UA without an overgarment.

think sausage casing without the ends tied off

It is tight, and I've discovered that it seems to allow a minimum of "chill" and then no more, regardless of how cold it is.

I bought my first shirt last year before hunting season.  I walked a mile to my stand, sweating pretty good, and was totally dry within 5 minutes. I love the stuff, and am buying the underwear pants this year before season.  I highly reccomend it.

started playing college football a few years back and when we got into late october-which was later than i played in high school (never made playoffs ) i was freezing to death when the offense was out on the field.  so i bought a cold gear shirt and it was like night and day.  we even got poured on one game and i was warm the entire time.  i'd swear by it.

Years ago I bought a black cold gear shirt along with some loose gear shorts and t-shirts for working out. It's never gotten cold enough here to wear the shirt.  Note: this stuff feels good and does not fade.
