I like the Golden Boy 22, almost bought one. I didn't like the front plastic barrel band. I don't know why a gun company would go through the trouble of producing such a nice rifle, solid brass receiver, smooth as silk to operate and beautiful deep bluing, then use plastic for the barrel band. I heard from a friend the cheaper models are troublesome.

I have sold several of the Golden Boys and never had a complaint or comeback. On the other hand I have sold several of the other Henry's and they all came back for one reason or an other.
