How in the hell did that become $70?

i bought two $27 tickets a couple weeks ago... it came out to $78

That's the thing about it. Most venues don't sell at the box office any longer.

And if they do, you'll be getting a really bad seat because all of the best seats are blocked off and sold online and via ticket brokers.

When buying tickets these days, expect to pay AT LEAST $10 over face because of all the damned fees.
