I was asked to repost this...

We had a thread about this several months ago, I know. I've been talking to several people that thought we should do another, so here goes.

Grandmother on my mother's side, age 16:

At age 17

My grandfather, her husband, during WWII.

The next two aren't old, but they're cool pics. My father, brother and I use to be hugely into Civil War reenacting, and here are a couple from the 'good ol days'.

My father is 3rd from the left...

More to come later today. I found a huge box of photos from the other side of the family, including some from the late 1800's.

And wow. Your Dad looks like Bruce McGill:

I usually get that he looked like Perry Mason...McGill's a new one to me. I can kinda see it, though.

Man I gotta scan some of my family pics. I come from an interesting background. My granfather from my mother side is Spaniard. Having that and Pilipino heritage is pretty cool. Also 2 of my uncles from my dad's side married caucasian women. Talk about a melting pot.

My Dad is the officer in the back row, right end. He was the aircraft commander, and this was his crew.
Covering convoys and hunting u-boats in the Atlantic.

That's the dangly thingy (don't know the english term) that hangs from the sword, that just happens to look the same color in the BW photo as his gloves. It is in fact gold thread, and his gloves are brown.

Our thumbs are quite normal.
