I had a procedure done about 4 months ago where they kill the root to the corner of the toenail..never grows back so, hopefully, I wont get ingrown nails anymore.......
Id get them every few months....awful pain, plus its not a big plus when the ladies see 'em |

They did that to me too, but the doc missed a spot, no I have a second nail that grows UP out of the back corner of the nail. It is almost like a fin on those old caddys. |

Actually, it's grown out but it's still painful. Me thinks this time it got infected down under the nail someplace and possibly it's starting to grow a nail back sideways.
Going to go to the VA Monday & see if I can see a Doc. |

Today I meanandered over to the VA to see if I could get in and woza, les than 2 hours later I was limping out withouot a toenail and on antibiotics.
Love the VA hospital here, they take great care of ya and make ya feel like a person & not a slab of meat like so many military hospitals do. Anywhoo, the Dr cut the nail out, did some digging and the nail had grown sideways so she had to work for a bit to get it out. The worst part was the numbing shot, but after than it was cake  Now the pain killer is wearing off and it hurts like a mother humper
