Anyone ever fast for more than a week?

Being knocked out and IV fed in the hospital doesn't count.

7 days. Water on most days, from the third to the 7th was juice every other day. Fasting was the reason. Lost 15 lbs but gained it back in another week.

Six days.

I kept going on water and ephedra. I lost ten pounds!!

I started getting REAL DIZZY on day 5.. had a hard time doing anything, even thinking, on day 6.

The Subway sandwich I had that night was the BEST MEAL I have eaten in my life!!

I've done three days on purpose (fasting) and a little more than three days because I was broke and had no food (all the cash went for the rent and to get to/from work).

12.5 days.

I had an ulcer, and everything I ate would come back up.  It was water only for 10 days, and then small sips of 7up would stay down.

I fasted for 22 days about 5 years ago.  I broke my fast on Easter Sunday.  During the time I fasted, I drank water almost exclusively.  In addition, I drank 5-6 mixtures daily of boiled water, organic apple cider vinegar and honey.  After day 3, the hunger vanished.  I think the honey helped keep the glucose steady.

When Sick - 4 days, stomach virus of some kind, most of the time not even water would stay down..  Lost 15 pounds but would not recommend it as a diet.

Not Sick - Probably about 2 and a half days, sailing from Wellington, NZ to Sydney, AUS.  Time constraints driving the course and speed, and the sea state kept the ship rolling 20-35 degrees almost constantly for 3 days.  Some of the guys couldn't get out of their racks, some of us could at least get up and around, and a few guys had no problems.  Basically If you could take a watch you did until somebody came along and relieved you.  Some of the crew had coffee cans tied to their belts for puking while working

Four days.

On the last day my urine turned a deep orange color.  Not sure what to make of that.

That's a pretty good sign of liver malfunction or bile duct blockage.

I went without food for 7 days after an endoscope procedure to clear my bile duct caused pancreatitis instead.  Lived on crushed ice, and let me tell you, every bite was fantastic.

I went almost four days once because of sickness.  Couldn't even keep down water.  On the fourth day I had to be hospitalized and iv'd up with fluids and anti-puke meds.

The first thing the nurses gave me to take orally was grape juice.  I looked at her, my eyes saying, "you're kidding, right".

She said not to worry, the anti-puke meds would be sure to keep it down.  I projectile vomited grape juice less than 5 minutes later, staining everything it touched.

Brilliant fucking idea.

She gave me ice chips after that
