I have quite a bit of archery experience but absolutely zero with a crossbow.  What would you crossbow hunters recommend for a good entry level crossbow?  Are there any sites for crossbows like we have here for the black rifle?

    Just watched a show on China, where the crossbow was invented...according to the show. They had a semiauto crossbow with a magazine of arrows of darts or what ever they are, on top of the bow. It was gravity fed. It had a mechanical recocking device, and every time you cocked it, a new dart was feed onto the rear of the stock in shooting position. This crossbow was a copy of a weapon used by the Chinese army during one of the Ming dynisty periods. Even then, they had semiautos.

I used to have a Barnett Commando, and I really liked it.  Plenty of power, easy to cock, fun to shoot. I got pass-throughs on deer, except when I'd shoot them in the spine.

Google it up, I think you'll like what Barnett has.
