Remember Denny's used to give free meals to birthday sufferers, but discontinued doing it. Anyone else do it?

I have a relative that makes a habit of patronizing restaurants the week of her birthday to get free desserts each time...Not sure about meals...She is so fanatical about it she wil drive across town to get free icecream cone...
