A passing motorist saw the man struggling with the cat and waded in to chase it away. The animal was later tracked and killed by conservation officers. And a little help

He put up a good fight, but if the other guy hadn't come along, the cat would have likely killed him.

Good thing the motorist came by to help out the guy that killed the cat with his knife before the conservation officer tracked it down.

There was a mountain bike rider here in Orange County that was killed by a cougar. He was stopped and kneeling down fixing a flat tire when the cougar attacked and killed him. Pretty fit guy but .....
I used to go to these places and if I go again I'm carrying, legal or not. A LEO recently shot and killed one in his back yard that wouldn't leave so all this has made the news again. www.ocregister.com/ocregister/sports/columns/article_967116.php |
