is there anyway to make this fit on a a.r.m.s sir system?

Tango down sells a SIR rail that the grip will fit on.  I have both the grip and the replacement rail.  IMO, the lower SIR rail is out of spec as I had another fwd grip that also fit super tight.

I had to pound mine onto my YHM 2-piece.  Real pain in the ass.  I don't ever plan on removing it.  I'll probably just replace the forend entirely.
