I always have a list of something I want. Pissed off to all hell when I get it and it sucks - Kahr Thompson

Right now I have two on my hit list.

An M1A. Older, Springfield, USGI type.

A Springfield Micro 1911.

It never ends.

Colt Delta Elite 10mm - stupid CA laws means I gotta find one in-state

HK P7M8 - the action is so unique, plus they're not made anymore.

AR-15 carbine, 16" M4 profile, flat top.

2 AR-15's (dont have any, when I get em, I plan on building them as twins)
Another USP45

Eventually I want:

2 usp45 (got one already)
2 compact pistols (undecided, leaning to G19)
2 AR-10's
put a heavier barrel on my Mini-14 and use it as a trunk gun, I cant sell it b/c it was my first gun

A FN Hi Power was next on the list, but it got trumped by an 1898 Krag today. My list is long enough to keep me poor for the next 3 years, though I suspect it will keep growing until I come to my senses. Unfortunately my wife encourages my habit..

I always tell myself that there are "just a few more guns" to buy. Just those few...then I can lay off for a while and save money for stuff that's actually important.

It never works. Every time I complete that "last" list, there is another (just ONE LAST "another"....) list just as big/usually bigger to take it's place.

Right now, the "necessary guns to buy" list is:

A CMP Springfield '03
Winchester 94
Mossberg 590
Chinese SKS
Heavily modified ruger 10/22 (still have never owned a .22...)

Later:

Steyer AUG (*if* we are all fortunate enough)

Had a friend recently pick up one of the 03's from CMP - thing came soaked in cosmoline. Cleaned her up and found some interesting 'tick' marks in the stock and 'X's neatly etched in the top of the upper handguard (like someone was keeping track). Along with the name "Ruby" or "Rudy" etched in the stock beneath the bolt handle. Nice piece of history there no doubt.

Thanks for the comment....I was kinda worried that they would all be in junk condition. But now, I will probably put it on the top of my list (I'm sure they're disappearing fast).

Uppers, specifically a CMMG M4A1 SOCOM uper with birdcage FH, a LMT MRP w/18" barrel, and a standard 20" flattop upper with a2 front sight. Also want a FN SPR A3G, but thats gonna have to wait a year or so.
