They are having this auction about 20 miles from the house on saturday. I called the auction company and the secretary emailed some pics since all the ad in the paper mentioned was "guns".
A few interesting pieces but I was confused on pics #5 and #7 and was wondering if they are backwards according to the description, can anybody help me out on the ID please ? I don't really need a .375 H&H but I am curious what the price will work out to on #1. Might check out the S&W snub-nosed as well. The main reason I am going is to see what the MAK90 goes for and will bid on it if it is a steal plus I've got to bid on #11 for my ex-father-in-law because he collects those Browning auto shotties.
Anybody bought firearms at these types of auctions before ? I'm curious how high the starting bids will be, the person I talked to had no idea. They'll probably come out with some BS like "and here we have a Marlin .22, starting bid $1000, do I hear $1000"
Will be interesting to see since the auction is out here on a farm in the middle of nowhere, I wonder how many people will show up.
ETA: I left all the misspelled words in the description just as they sent it to me
