Other thread got me to thinking and well.......

Just like it reads above:

What State do you reside?

Is it Legal (or illegal) for you to carry in a Mall?

Too many States to list in a Poll

AZ - don't know/don't care...  Carry everywhere.

PA - Legal.

Many malls are posted as to no CCW.  All they can do here is request that you leave.  If you don't ga when asked, you are trespassing.

Guess where I spend my money.

Legal.....Would carry anyway.

FWIW, there are very few off-limits places for carrying in CT.  The mall local to me has a policy prohibiting the carriage of firearms but specifically exempting those who are licensed to do so from the policy.

Completely LEGAL as far as the state is concerned, although most malls have up signs saying it's prohibited.

Concealed is concealed though...........

Not illegal here, but every mall I have been in has a no firearms/weapons clause in their posted rules.

There are no establishment type restrictions where you can't CCW in NY.

No signs posted= Good to go.

Our local mall doesn't have any signs posted but the Mall Ninjas have occasionally spotted a couple of CCWs and have asked the CCW holder to leave the premisis.  I can't understand it though because I have gone to the mall almost open carrying and have never been spotted.

It's legal in PA, IF the mall doesn't post signs saying "no concealed weapons". My local mall does have a "no weapons" policy, but it isn't posted per the law. I avoid the place when I can, and if I have to visit, oh well, what they don't see, they won't complain about. Worst they can do is ask me to leave, which I will.

If something goes down, I'm outta there. Not my job to save the defenseless sheep; they had the same option as I to CCW. Now if I'm cornered...bang bang.

ohio = ok as long as the mall dont post a big "no guns" sign on EVERY door into the place..

Which mall are you near? I've never seen signs at any of the malls I go to. I'm near Westfarms myself, but I go all over the state.

TX = Legal (unless posted properly)

Valley View Mall (Dallas) has recently gone out of their way to post the proper, legally-binding anti-gun signs. Idiots.

Legal in MN unless posted. Most malls I have been to are not posted. Mall of America is posted no guns though, and I won't shop there for that reason.

TN - legal unless posted.  One of the local malls claims to be posted, but I havent seen the notice on any entrances.

NC-legal unless posted.

I just go in through one of the store entances i.e. J.C.Penny's if the mall entrance has a sign saying no CC. There is no sign on any store entrance and no sign upon entering the main mall area either so they technically don't have it posted in a visible manor which is required by law.
