I got this at a garage sale a long time ago.  It says:

Fabrica Ermas
unviedo
1926

my guess would be some kind of spanish mauser. It has no caliber markings on it. Its some kind of shorter carbine model. It doesnt have a bolt, I wonder if I could find one for it?

Don't know but maybe you could trade it for a new pair of boots.

Spanish model 1893 or 1895. Some were made in 7mm mauser and others in 30 CETME (same dimensions as 7.62x51 NATO but at a lower operating pressure. It is also missing the slide stop/ejector.

Gunpartscorp.com has parts for the 1895 mauser. There are curently 1893 mauser parts for sale on eBay.

+1 on the earlier comment.  Odds are that this is in caliber 7x57 Mauser, a fine shooting round and excellent for hunting, with suitable ammo.

Spanish Model 1916 originally in 7mm.  Small ring action.  Bolts are likely available from Numrich or Springfield Sporters.
