I got a e-mail today with some info about a show called The Gunsmiths. Ill Quote from there site..


About the Show
Gunsmith Productions has put together a new show for the armchair gunsmith and shooter who wants to know what it takes to build a Accurate, Reliable, and Beautiful gun.  We will visit the shops of some of the best Custom Gunsmiths in the country and watch how they build their firearms.

In the first Nine episodes The Gunsmith Television show will pair three contestants who are avid hunters and Shooters, with three professional gunsmiths in a contest to build the best rifle, as determined by its accuracy, reliability, and looks.  A panel of  judges along with the viewing audience will determine the winner.

The contestants along with their gunsmith instructor will decide what caliber, type action, barrel, stock, and trigger will be used to compete in the accuracy, reliability and appearance portions of the testing.

In each episode there will be two segments where the crew goes off set for us to see other aspects of the firearms business, from Firearm Manufactures like Remington, Savage, Winchester, Marlin, Colt, Smith & Wesson and others to Stock makers, Engravers,and some of the parts suppliers and Gunsmith supply business.


It sound pretty cool!! But I have never heard of it??  Have any of you??
