I usually get my weapons from private party sales or gunshops. What happens when you get delayed at a gunshow? Do you have to make pickup or shipping arrangements for the weapon if nothing comes through while at the gunshow?

I'm thinking that leave it with the custodial staff until the paperwork comes in, isn't the helpful answer you were looking for?  otherwise "YES"

At the shows here it seems all the dealers that come from out of town have signs saying they will cancel the sale if you are delayed. I'd imagine local places will just hold them at the shop for you
