Okay...I have two vehicles that have been paid off for the better part of a year now, and I still have not recieved a title for either one.
A Dodge Durango that was financed through Wells Fargo, and a Yamaha V-Max that was financed through Yamaha.

I refinanced my house through Ditech, and paid both vehicles off with the procedes (Checks that were written directly to the creditors from Ditech.

Ditech says the titles were not sent to them...Yamaha had no clue, and I have not gotten through to the right department at Wells Fargo yet.

Someone told me that it is possible the titles were sent to the DMV ???...Anyone ever heard of that happening?

Here you can just go to some DPS offices and get an original title printed out for about $10
(at least you can see whos name is on the title and if they still have the liens on them)

eta: you might be able to do it by mail also
