It is on right now.  Pretty hoakie, but I like it.  I have seen it a dozen times, and will probably watch it a dozen more.

The AR60 Grove assault rifle.

They offered that role to Chuck Norris. But even he wouldn't do it......

Loved it in the '80s. Remo's training scenes were cool.

Chiun: Women should stay home and make babies. Preferably, manchild.
Major Rayner Fleming: [to Remo] I see you both went to the same charm school.

New York City traffic control cop: Excuse me. What are you doin' to that boy?
Remo Williams: Oh, uh, unnecessary use of the horn, officer.
New York City traffic control cop: Well, I'll be unnecessary use of my nightstick on your thick skull if you don't let him go.
Remo Williams: Whatever happened to police courtesy and that kind of stuff, huh?
New York City traffic control cop: We save that bull-shit for the upper east side.

Remo Williams: You know, Chiun, there are times when I really like you.
Chiun: Of course. I am Chiun.
Remo Williams: And there are times when I could really kill you.
Chiun: Good. We will practice that after dinner.

It's an ok movie, I never expected Fred Ward to play an Action star.

The movie was great.

It helped tha I have read about 70-80 of the destroyer series.  (Which this is based off of).

And if you thought Chuck Norris was bad, you REALLY don't want to mess with Chiun or Remo.

FYI, deep within Remo, resides a god, Shiva, the Destroyer.

Great books if you are looking to kill a few hours.

Since this was based upon a series of books, I thought that there would have been at least one sequel.

It was kind of cheesy, but enjoyable.

Thank Gawd there was no sequel.  The first one was bad enough.  You do have to have a sense of humor to enjoy it.

This woulld have made a great TV series. I read every one of the books when I was a kid. They are funny as hell. The Ruby character was a gem.

I still love that movie.  I can't believe they didn't make a sequel, considering the books are still being written.
