Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone heard about an Apache shot down in Iraq the past few days?

A fellow doctor and hunting buddy of my Dad's son flys the AH-64 and the doc heard about one shot down from the same unit and same area that his son was in.  Current news is both pilots are dead and he has not heard anything from his son.

I can't seem to find any report on it in th news.

I would have though so too, but there was also talk of MIA etc... you know the whole fiasco.
