I bought an aluminum dog door about 4 years ago and need another one.  It is has an aluminum frame, aluminum door, insulated core and a weather seal (very good for cold weather).  It was made by a company that makes commercial doors for kitchens and freezers.  The owner said he was really upset about how poor the other dog doors were so he decided to make one himself.

This is driving me nuts.  The sticker with the company name wore off years ago and I still can't find it.  Oh yeah, they're expensive, about $280.00.

Thanks,

bd

Dog doors are pretty poor from a security standpoint.

I'd look for one with electronic access.  You attach a transponder to the dogs collar, it opens for him only

FOUND IT!!!  Carlson products. These things are really nice and much stronger (when locked) than other dog doors.
