Actually, those are large pictures, but 300dpi is pretty low resolution.
Notice the massive pixellation?

Damn shame, those pics would likely be ideal otherwise.

Well, if we're talking about the bolt catch, then maybe. Upon closer inspection, I do notice a little (almost undetectable) bit of rust in the grooves. I don't own any safe queens, and shot it in the rain this morning. I missed a spot.

SubnetMask, now THATS a pretty nice high resolution photo!

The pics at Colt are grainy. 300dpi may be suitable to print, but those look like enlargements from probably 70dpi, which would explain why they went to hell. Just look at the detail... there is none

Ya....we are.  Bolt release/bolt catch, blah.

And its all good.  Guns are made for shooting and abusing.
