AR15.Com, about the only true web site dedicated to those who own AR15s, along with those who own other types of semi-automatic firearms and are strongly supportive of the 2nd amendment.
There are currently about 13089 users here. A large amount of people. Even though many the people who post here don't own an AR15 or a firearm at all, the majority of the users here do own at least one, if not more, of the "evil black rifles" along with other so-called "assault rifles" like the AK47.
If any person surfing the web writes "AR15" in their internet search engine, then this web site AR15.Com is surely going to come up in the first 10, if not the first web site found. You can't miss this site if you are interested in AR15s or those who own them.
So here is what I'm getting at. Do you think the Feds search the internet for pro-gun web sites to keep up with possible anti-government militia groups? Do you think the Feds are aware of this web-site? If so, do you feel that they are concerned about the high amount of people owning such rifles and think the users of this web site are a threat because of all the owners with para-military type weapons and the amount of high-cap magazines we own? Or do you think the Feds feel that we are not a threatening group of people and see us as just a bunch of NRA member, pro-gun people with AR15s and maybe like a few of them, enjoy sport shooting and the right of self-protection? Do you think the Feds turn their backs to this site hoping the rest of the world don't see it as it may attract people to the world of shooting?
Do you think it would be a plus or a negative for us that a popular web site as this one revealing the large portion of the U.S. culture owns rifles such as AR15s? Would it be cool or not that this site be mentioned on Fox News or better yet, on CNN for all the liberals to watch.
I can see CNN now. "An internet site dedicated to military type guns for your child to see....Your own neighbor may own a military-type rifle known as the AR15. Details as 11:00."
Soccer moms beware, there's a new sport in town.

A few months ago, Small Arms Review ran a story about their tour of BATF HQ.  In an interview, BATF talked about viewing the Bowers board (subguns.com).

I'm sure that they look here, too.  I'd also bet the CAL DOJ pokes around here, too.

Hell, I learned about a drug/rave bb (ecstasy-related) from my campus police department's anti-drug presentation...

In short, of course they're here!  No tinfoil hat here, but you'd have to be a complete idiot to NOT watch what you say on a public board dedicated to something the general public has been brainwashed to see as evil.

Now I am really worried !   How can I make public appearances if I am known to visit AR15.com???   I will be considered a whacko nutjob.

Dear Goatboy:  Can you please change the domain name of this site to:   SARAHBRADY.com ?

Thank you in advance !  [BD]

We are engaging in:

1) A perfectly legal, constitutionally-protected activity (gun ownership & enjoyment).

2) Free speech, also a constitutionally-protected activity.

No criminal activity here (I don't think) so what can they really say that will matter? Let the antis come here and get a dose of constitutional reality, it will give them a little break from their Socialistic world.

Don't worry about it. Enjoy your freedom here at AR15.com as a lot of countries don't have the opportunity to enjoy it like we do.

I think they probably worry more about the people who don't talk about their guns. They already know about most of us because of background checks. Most of the guys who bomb federal buildings dont spend much time on the net enjoying some good conversation with some good guys.  [puke]

I used to try to keep my gun ownership on the  "down-low," fearing that the Govt. might try to discover me.  But I soon realized that with the background checks that I have gone through, CCW, Gunshows, Web perusal, etc.  they already know I have guns....

So now my tactic is to make my presence known by educating others about gun rights and making blatant contributions to the NRA and SAF.
They will help me retain my gun rights.
