Really, I would never live in NY. Restrictive gun laws, high taxes.

The place sucks.

Oh, wait....

(The place really does suck!)

Suprisingly, Michigan is becoming more gun friendly too. Even with a Canadian Governor.

At least 25 anti gun bills in the NY State assembly

Don't waste time posting a complaint here, when you can accomplish more by writing to your two Senators.

Oh yeah. Uh, sorry....

It sucks here, but well, no permit for long guns, just pistols. I'd say other places like NJ is worse, and in CA you are stuck with the FAB-10 etc. I'm still gonna get out when I get the chance.

I don't think Illi-communist-nois could be any less gun friendly.

Oh, Indiana, how I wish to be in you.

Damn, I was hoping to reenforce my sterotypical belief that the island can fall into the sea and the state would be all the better.

Unfortunitly I am currently in this state, I don't live her, I go to school here. I look forward to going back to NH because it is so much better than NY The longer I stay here, the more I start to hate it, I can't think of anything good about this place. It seems like if I spend $10 here I pay like a buck or two on taxes. I don't know where the money goes, because everything sucks here...
In NH:
no sales tax
gun friendly

In NY:
everything is taxed (I'm waiting for a tax to breath NY air)
you can own a gun if it is chopped up into little pieces and you have 20 permits to own those pieces of metal.

Wow, started reading that, John Lavelle should be shaved, sterilized, and destroyed, he brings a whole new meaning to being unAmerican.

NYC is draconian, not only for guns, but also for doin' business on the only plus side maybe tons of women there who put out at the drop of a hat but when I finally moved it was freedom, real freedom

Only if you didn't buy weapons prior to 2000. There were hundreds of thousands of weapons that were already in the state which required registration ... about 3-5% of them got put on paper ... the rest are missing.

I can't see owning a gun you can't legally walk out of the house with. Having said that at least they'll have them for the next American Revolution.

It's all trade offs. IL requires a FOID to buy ANY gun, but you can't buy handguns that aren't on the approved list in CA, nor can you buy AWs.
