ETA: Yeah....what's up with the picatiny rails all over evrything but the gun? |
Those come with the gun homey, nothing he could do about it. Anyways, who's gonna say "no" to free stuff? |
no I'm just wondering what the hell springfield was thinking when they designed the molds for them |
gun gear, comes with it. free so I ain't gonna complain |
Oh, I get it now. Sorry, I didn't see the rails on the gear, there. I wonder what they were thinking? |
Nice gun. Good Luck with it. I have the XD 9mm and it shoots like a dream. I wish I had the money to drop on the 45. :(
Nice gun. I have the XD9 4", the XD40 sub compact and I'm saving for the 45 ACP. I love these guns. |
It's a place to put your rail mounted light when your gun is holstered. Next question? |
Congrats, gonna post a range review right? so I can spend some money
b
Ahhhhh Haaaaaa!! Thanks! |
There's a standard rail on the front bottom of the gun. |
I'm GLOCK man at heart but I bet I'd buy that before I bought a G21.
When the heck did they start making these? Have I been under a rock? Dude thats my next gun now!
new for 06' |
absolutely! Did they have any other models yet? 5 inch? Bitone? |
I didn't see any at the show. it was the only model. |
Range report please! I'm wanting one, too! -John |
You need a 'looking down the muzzle' comparison pic. |
I think they are, but we are still waiting for the 10 round magazines to come out. |
i was waiting on the same exact thing. ive got a 5" 9mm and its more accurate then the 4", noticable i was thinking about getting a 45 for a while, was about to settle on the glock. i was talking to a friend that also owns an XD, and i said "man, i wish springfield would come out with a 45acp" i checked their site that day and BAM there is was. sweet buy! decent price too |
I wonder who'll get one first...hubby or me....muhahahaha
Guess we'll have to buy both at once. |
as requested see above |
looks like you got an aftermarket barrel and spring on the 9mm, what is it? what kind of difference did you see from it? worth it? edit in red |
Nope, original barrel and spring. I hit it with a wire wheel because the original finish was coming off fast. |
Is that holster that comes with it switchable to lefty?
Even being a Glock fan, I'm kinda tempted. |
righty only, at least mine was |
well it looks preety sweet, i wish they would have used a more durable finish, love my xd |
Not keeping up with the rash of 'full auto' pistol threads of late, have you? |
Its a place to hang you fleshlights and other strapon attachments when your piece is in your sheath. |
Man i am jealous I was under theimpression they werent coming out until spring. every distributor we have tried isnt listing any in stock yet and they all said early spring before they got them, hell some of them werent even showing them in there systems yet. gonna have to make some calls monday/ Nice XD and congrats
I wasn't even expecting to see one myself. Crowded show and I always take a quick look before I do any serious browsing and it was pure luck that I caught it. |
+1 very cool--got to wait on the tac i wonder if SA will distribute a 3.5in/4in compact version w/ shorter grip to hold 11 or so rnds(3in bbl is too short).... |
