I'd like to see them do the squib round in a Mosin-Nagant again but do it right this time. Download enough powder from a round to lodge it midway down the barrel and THEN see if the dummy shooting the gun is damaged. Last time they just hammered a round a little bit into the muzzle and the barrel got messed up pretty badly.

Same thing with an AR.

Do bullets really strike with enough energy to kill if you shoot them straight up ... I can just see them out at the air strip at Alameda with a rifle shooting round after round into the air hoping Jamie gets hit with one!

I wish they'd do one on take-down sniper rifles.

Its a standard movie cliche: guy goes into room, opens briefcase and pulls out disassembled rifle. Screws barrel into reciever, snaps a scope on, chambers around, and he's good to go.

So, the removable barrel and scope are gonna maintain zero?

I'm pretty sure that's been de-mythed.... A bullet fired straight up will NOT kill you, it might hurt and give you a little cut/bruise but, it will not kill you. A bullet that has been fired on a angle does not lose all of it's energy and can kill.
