I just found out the rate went up to .39 cents on 1/08. What's going to happen to my letters?

They'll be sent back to you marked insufficient postage.

They will be eaten by a fat guy, pooped out, and sent back to you.

You'll see them in your box in a day or two. The increase was publicized heavily for weeks ahead of time; it was on the front page of the paper in the cities around here as well as on TV and radio............

I've seen letters addressed to the previous owner with $0.34 stamps and they still get delivered. Your experience may vary.

My company has the option of paying the shortage on the envelope or sending the payment back.  We pay the shortage because we want the payment.  Most companies do the same.

Hmm
Guess I should pick up a paper now and then.

I pay all my bills by mail.

I don't authorize anyone to take money out of my bank account.

Since you're only a small percentage short of full postage, they will delay your letter for a few hours.

First I've heard of this.

I don't know whether to consider this a good thing that I pay so little attention to the news or not.
