I dont mind helping out people who need it, but I dont like helping companies that make a buck off my generosity all the while claiming to help another group out.

Is the Vietnam Veterans of America an up and up organization, or am I better served to donate to the VA?

totally legit. just fill the bag with whatever and hang it on your door. they'll come pick it up.
