I think it ran a full 1st season, with no expectation of a 2nd. I wasn't a fan anyway. |

It died after one season. It had a great idea, great production and really shitty writing and direction.
I wanted to like it, but I was always disappointed.

it was a stupid show.
If they wanted ratings, they should host an unbiased uncensored documentary of a soldiers daily life in 'over there.' But we all know that won't happen. |

sucks that a good idea for a seris has to have shitty direction and even worse writing. Set design was really crappy aswell. I watched a few episodes , couldnt really get into it

Check out "Off to War". Suppose to be what you describe but it's full of anti-war, anti-Bush dribble. They need a show like that with Army regulars not NG's. |

It was starting to get good, I was starting to care about the characters, the writing was getting better, and regardless of what the people that watched just one episode say, it was not a full left wing propaganda dumping ground. Now I'll never know why Double-Wide was called Double-Wide.

Everyone I know, or have met, who has been over there, only want to go back to help their friends get home. They all seem to agree that the country/region/society are nothing but a shithole. My mileage may vary from most though. |
