Nice!

I use cigarette butts in a pinch. Otherwise, I suppose 9mm works fine as an earplug. It isn't good for much anything else.

hmmmmm... will have to see

ok, 45 just is too big, but will kinda work

now 9mm on the other hand fits nicely, but still not that effective.

conclusions:

my ears are small.
hollow points hurt putting into ears instead of a FMJ
I need to go to bed.

Damn I thought you were talking which is more effective.   I'm really partial to the BMT .25acp for everything, earplugs to dropping badguys.   It even slices bread!

.45 ACP. I've tried .45ACP,  9mm and .40 S&W. the .45 is more dense and eliminates more sound.  Trust me on this. I had a partner that snored like a buzz saw. I'd take a couple rounds out of a spare mag and I was good to go.

Marlboros make for a good stand by ear plug, make sure you put the filter end  your ear

if you stuck a bullet in your ear and a ejecting shell hit the primer hard enough would you have a really bad day?
