My Canada story...
October 04 - At the time I lived in central Minnesota and got a case of Lyme disease, probably while working my dog a few months earlier. I did not get the classic body ache/headache symptoms. Instead I got AV Heart block. My pulse rate dropped to 30 and sometime would hit 27. I went to my local clinic on a Friday morning and ended up in the hospital a VERY short time later. I was cured and have no side effects to this day. I’m happy with the care I got that weekend. My Canadian friend – I had a co-worker buddy from our Toronto office and we were good friends. We always made time for a beer when he was in town. After my returning from my affliction I learned that on the same day I went to the hospital my friend went to the doctor in Toronto complaining about heart trouble. The asshole doctor did not have time for him asked the he return on Monday! Can you believe that shit? He didn’t make Saturday morning before he died. So FUCK Canada, FUCK their government and FUCK their healthcare! |
