Just curious.  Found an extra $600 laying around and thought I would buy a gun.  I have no idea what I want so I was just looking for ideas on what you guys would spend it on

Where did you find said money and is there any more left?  Seriously, for $600 I would buy a used Sig 220 or 226 and a case of Wolf blasting ammo if you wanted a pistol.  If you were more inclined to buy a rifle, I'd probably put that money in a high-yield savings account or CD, wait a while and then get an M14/M1A.  MJD

I have a bunch of SIGs and there aren't any guns I really NEED right now.  I do NEED another gun though, just like everyone else.

I was thinking about an underfolder AK 'cause I don't have one of those.  However, I was reading that they aren't the most comfortable to shoot.  I like to shoot my guns.

Just wondering what you guys would buy if you were buying today

You could build an AR for that.

You will not be drinking the colt koolaid but it can be done.

It all depends on what you have.  If you are happy with what you got buy ammo/accessories and training first.

CPO Sig 220.  There are fewer and fewer CPOs left (almost none at the USA facilities), and you get a factory refurbished, often pretty much new, Sig with a 1 year warranty.  You cannot beat the price, and there are a couple of good EE dealers who carry them.

Spend the rest on ammo.

Personally, if I had $600 lying around for a gun, I'd get an SVT40, or a Beretta CX4.

Kel-tec PLR-16 -- their new 5.56 pistol. It looks fun.  Put a red dot on it and get the furniture when it comes out.

I'd buy this:

AMD-65 $539.00

Plus some mags with the remainder of the money. I've had my eye on this for a long time, I just can't seem to "find" $600 bucks to buy it with.
