I have a 9200 128mb one, and I am getting a new computer with an X200.

Which is better? 3 y/o technology vs. this year. Anything special? Any suggestions?

(if other suggestions, keep it under $200).

I just got an EVGA GeForce 6800 XT from Tiger Direct.  It was $150, and it plays the Doom 3 and Quake 4 demos with 4x antialiasing, 1280x1024 resolution and everything else on high.

I'm pretty sure that an x200 isn't going to be nearly that good.  My new computer came with an X300, and looking at stats on websites mine is quite a bit better than that one.

The new cards are much faster.

I suggest you lose the ATI card for nVidia… drivers are more stable.

The nVidia GeForce 6600GT is good bang for the buck…well under $150

I found a Sapphire ATI Radeon X1300 512MB for $100... Good deal?

Dunno, but remember that the memory amount doesn't really mean anything.  My 128mb GeForce 6800 is a heck of a lot better than my brother's 256mb 6200.

I don't want to deal with Nvidia, too many past problems.

ATI has always worked 100% and NO issues, ever.

Check out the warranty, if its decent, why not?
a few years ago my buddy and I both bought Radeon 9600XT's , mine was made by ATI with 128 mb and his was sapphire with 256, and both are still working well. I personally prefer ATI to nvidia but thats just me.
ETA: check out the details $100 seems a bit cheap.
