I have seen this done in many movies, & I decided if my carry knife was sharp enough to shave my arm or leg hair, I should give it a try on my face.

I applied the shaving cream, & gave it a good pull across my cheek down to my jaw line. It kind of hurt & & so I gave a few more goings over on the same spot.

I guess it sort of worked, but I re-did the area with my Mach III razor, & I could tell a huge difference in the stubble clearing. I would hate to have to do my whole face & neck with my carry knife, & if it were my only option for shaving I would grow a beard.

Any of you ever try your carry knife for shaving your face?

I shaved with my leatherman wave on a dare once, hurt like hell but actually came away with a halfway decent shave

Have done the whole shave your leg test for knife sharpness. Didn't work as well on the face.

That would work good if your whiskers were more like rope.

It sucks.  Especially with a bowie style knife.

Hot towel first! Then your beard is softer. The question is if you have access to hot towels why are you shaving with your carry knife?
