Always wanted a real Russian SVD. No way in hell I can afford one. A kit is a lot more likely. I can get that slowly and it won't hurt as much.

There is another thread that recently addressed this. It would be really expensive to do anything like this... so expensive that it would probably be cheaper to just buy an original...

This place used to sell em. Now it has a very min "parts" page on it. Not even a parts page
really, but they may have something in the "back"..Never know. However I think the weapons
were of Romania.

RUseller on gunbroker could have gotten a kit for you, now it would be barrel-less which would make it junk unless you have experience making your own barrels.

Or compliance parts.

And no, regular AK parts will not work.
