If someone asked you what your most reliable firearms was, what would you tell them?  What's the one weapon that has never ever jammed, had any FTF / FTE, or any problem of any kind.....one you would be your life on.

For me, it would have to be my Olympic K3B-MIL4 AR-15.  It's the only gun I've got that has never ever had a problem of any kind. Every single time I've pulled the trigger....it has fired...PERIOD!

My Ruger 7mmRM hunting rifle has fired every time....but if it came down to it....I like the fact that I can have a 30rd mag in my AR  I guess if I wanted to knock down a moose from 300yds..I would pick my Ruger MarkII All-Weather

My Springfield Armory XD-40 was right up there with my AR, until it had a FTE for some reason last week at the range.  Every other weapon I have has had at least one "jam" since I've owned it....except my AR.   My Mossy 500 had the plunger get jammed in the magazine tube, and my Kel-Tec P3AT has jammed a few times.

My AR and my Sig. I'd bet my life on both of them.
(as long as they're kept clean )

None of my Garands have ever failed in any way.

My least reliable AR has one FTE in about 1500 rounds.  And that's my 10" AR (and the failture was before I installed a heavy buffer and Crane O-ring).  After that, it has had no failures of any kind.  I would definitely bet my life on it.

None of my other current AR's have had a failure as far as I can remember.

In no particular order..

AR, AK, Colt Python, S&W .357, 1911, Browning A5, NAA G .380,

99% of my awake life I have the NAA G .380 in my front pocket.

What is your most reliable firearm?...one you would bet your life on.

Each and every one of them, if they were not reliable, I would not own them.

YMMV.

Any of my Glocks or my Bushy.

My 5.56mm AR carbine on my Oly lower.  Totally reliable.  My 6.8 SPC upper only misses out due to lack of a good reliable magazine for it.  Does anyone make a good 6.8 magazine?

Others would be my M94 winchester lever gun in 3030 and my M70 Winchester in 30-06.  Never failed me... EVER

My little Beretta model 21A semi-auto in .22 LR is a very good gun too, and it's easy to keep close to hand.

My AKs.  All of them.

Pistol wise, the nod would go to my sig 229.

+1 The ARs are only good to about 5-700 rounds of the wolf before they need a cleaning.

my glock 36 and my FAL, my colt had a few ftf and fte when I used wolf ammo when it was new, it's been 100% for 4 years now. My GI 1911a1 had to have the extractor tuned, but I tuned it right and it's been 100% since then, as all my firearms are now, if I didn't think what I have would go pop everytime I wouldn't have it

My Ruger P-89 9mm
My Sig P220 45

Both have had countless thousands of rounds, neither has failed in any way.

They are my only guns with over 1000 rounds each that have never failed me.  I trust them absolutely.

I would take any gun I own at random. I dont see the point in owning a gun that dont shoot. Hell thats like a dog that dont hunt. If I get a firearm with problems, I wont keep it. And the guns I do own I keep in good order so I'd trust my life to any of them.

Thats not to say I wouldnt choose one over others, but nonetheless, any gun I own I would not hesitate to trust my life to.

Maybe I should have said....." what gun has never jammed on you".

My XD has had one FTE out of 1000rounds.  Would I consider it very reliable..YES....but it still doesn't mean that it's never jammed.

I've seen several $2000+ 1911's jam at least once.

Just got a Winny Defender. Haven't fired it yet but it's going to be the house gun if it passes trials.

Got a few others but they don't get enough use to be certified.

oddly enough, i have a mini 14 that has never failed me (i know how most here feel about them), neither have my mossy 500 or win. model 70. my bushy and beretta 92fs have only jammed because of magazine issues, and my springfield 1911 is picky about hollowpoints, of course....my beretta 1201fp has never let me down, but my brother somehow managed to jam it.......i feel like i can count on all my guns

Browning 12 Gauge BPS. Have had the gun since I was 10 years old, never a hicup.

I know this is AR15.com but I've seen way too many AR's fail to function to bet my life on 'em.

In a rifle I have never seen a Garand fail to function.
In a pistol I have never seen a Smith or Ruger wheelgun fail to function.

I personally have never had my G17 fail but I've seen people limp-wrist 'em before and get stovepipes.

Would I stake my life on it? No but I'm confident enough that it won't happen to me that I CCW it.

As always YMMV.

Same story with my glock 21

12000 rounds and counting, not a single issue

My S&W 6" 686 357 has never failed, even with handloads, same thing for my 340 .38.
My bushmaster M4 has yet to fail, about a 1,000 rounds through it.
And I never recall my Browning Auto-5 malfunctioning, ever with handloaded shells.

Neither my Beretta nor either of my AR's has ever jammed on me.

If I ever "know" i m betting my life on a firearm (HD situation), my first choice would be my Bushmaster M4 with an EOtech 512.

But since trouble doesn't often come with warning, I'd probably have to trust my pistol. No problem.
