A buddy of mine wants to start downloading podcasts and would like to get an MP3 player to do so.   Are there some that are better than others cost wise that would still automatically sync up with certain shows?   He would prefer not to spend 200+ on an ipod.

Will that allow you to sync up easily?  What is good software for syncing up?

My brother got the shuffle for xmas. I don't like it because it does not have a screen on it. For 100.00 more, get the mini, it has the small screen.


BTW; the ipods do sync up each time you connect them to the PC.
